Introduction: The Sabbath and Sanctification: Set Apart for a Holy Purpose Welcome to New Beginnings Books and Media. Throughout October, we are studying the Sabbath Day from creation to commandment, from the example of Jesus to the prophetic promise of future worship. Today's focus is how holy time teaches believers to live as a people set apart unto God. We will use the King James Version as our biblical foundation and invite every reader to examine Scripture carefully rather than allowing habit, culture, or human tradition to answer the question for us. The Sabbath is the seventh day, beginning Friday at sundown and ending Saturday at sundown. God blessed it, sanctified it, commanded His people to remember it, and gave it as sacred time for rest, worship, family, reflection, and serv...

The Journey of Faith: Trusting Yahawah Through New Beginnings

A woman walking forward in faith and trusting Yahawah through a new beginning

The journey of faith rarely unfolds in a perfectly straight line. It includes moments of clear direction, seasons of waiting, unexpected changes, difficult lessons, and renewed opportunities. A new beginning may answer a long prayer, but it can also require us to leave familiar places and trust the Most High before every detail is visible.

Hebrews 11:1 declares, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (KJV). Biblical faith is not pretending that uncertainty does not exist. It is choosing to trust Yahawah because His character and Word remain dependable. Through Yahawashi—Jesus Christ, believers receive an example of obedience, perseverance, truth, and faithful service.

The New Beginnings Faith Ministries book resource offers additional encouragement for readers seeking to grow through seasons of change.

Milestone One: Hearing the Call to Move Forward

Every faith journey begins with an invitation. The invitation may come through Scripture, prayer, wise counsel, or the clear realization that an old pattern can no longer continue. Hearing the call is only the beginning; responding requires willingness.

Abraham was called to leave what was familiar and travel toward a land the Most High would reveal. He did not receive every detail before taking the first step. In the same way, we may receive enough direction to begin without receiving the entire map. Faith responds to what has been made clear.

Milestone Two: Trusting During Uncertainty

Uncertainty reveals where our confidence truly rests. When plans change or answers seem delayed, fear may encourage us to return to familiar but unhealthy patterns. Proverbs 3:5–6 teaches us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and acknowledge Him so He can direct our paths.

Trust does not prevent preparation. It helps us prepare without becoming controlled by anxiety. We can gather information, seek counsel, organize resources, and make responsible decisions while still recognizing that the Most High sees what we cannot.

Milestone Three: Growing Through Trials

Trials do not automatically produce growth. Growth comes when we allow a trial to teach patience, expose weakness, strengthen prayer, and correct our direction. James 1:2–4 explains that the trying of faith works patience and that patience develops spiritual maturity.

Ask what the present difficulty is revealing. Does it expose impatience, poor boundaries, fear of rejection, lack of preparation, or dependence on human approval? Honest answers can turn a painful experience into valuable instruction.

Milestone Four: Renewing the Mind

Romans 12:2 connects transformation with the renewing of the mind. Old thinking can follow us into a new season unless it is challenged by truth. We may change jobs, locations, or relationships while continuing to carry the same fear and destructive expectations.

Daily Scripture study helps replace false beliefs with a biblical perspective. Read carefully, write what the passage teaches, and identify one way to apply it. Renewal becomes visible when thinking changes decisions and decisions produce healthier fruit.

Milestone Five: Walking in Obedience

Faith becomes practical through obedience. James 2:17 says that faith without works is dead. We do not earn salvation through good works, but genuine faith produces action. If the Word teaches forgiveness, discipline, honesty, generosity, or responsibility, faith asks how that truth should be practiced.

Obedience is often built through small choices that no one else applauds. Keeping a promise, correcting an error, turning away from temptation, completing necessary work, and maintaining a healthy boundary are all meaningful acts of faith.

Milestone Six: Learning to Wait Well

Waiting is one of the most demanding parts of a faith journey. It can feel as though nothing is happening, yet waiting seasons often develop character and preparation. Isaiah 40:31 promises renewed strength to those who wait upon the Lord.

Waiting well means remaining prayerful, productive, and teachable. Continue doing what is righteous and available today. Prepare for the opportunity you are requesting. Do not force a door through compromise simply because the proper door has not opened yet.

Milestone Seven: Receiving Support and Accountability

The Most High often uses trustworthy people to provide encouragement, correction, and practical help. Ecclesiastes 4:9–10 explains that two are better than one because one can help the other rise after a fall.

Choose support wisely. Healthy accountability points you toward Scripture and responsibility rather than dependence. A faithful mentor, counselor, family member, or ministry community can help you recognize blind spots and remain steady when discouragement appears.

Milestone Eight: Turning Growth Into Service

A mature faith journey eventually reaches beyond personal improvement. Yahawashi—Jesus Christ demonstrated service through teaching, compassion, sacrifice, and truth. The lessons gained during your new beginning may become tools for encouraging someone else.

Your testimony does not require pretending the journey was easy. Honest testimony gives glory to the Most High by showing how faith was strengthened through difficulty. Serve through prayer, wise conversation, practical assistance, teaching, or responsible generosity.

Signs That Faith Is Growing

Growing faith does not mean every question has disappeared. It may appear as greater patience, quicker repentance, wiser decisions, stronger boundaries, more consistent prayer, or increased willingness to obey. Growth is also seen when we stop measuring every situation only by comfort.

Keep a record of lessons, answered prayers, and moments of provision. These reminders can strengthen you when the next unfamiliar season begins. What feels like a small testimony today may become important evidence of faithfulness tomorrow.

Continue Walking by Faith

Second Corinthians 5:7 says, “For we walk by faith, not by sight” (KJV). Walking requires continued movement. You may not move at the same speed in every season, but you can remain faithful to the next righteous step.

Trust Yahawah through uncertainty, remain grounded in His Word, and follow the example of Yahawashi—Jesus Christ. Let every milestone—calling, waiting, trial, renewal, obedience, support, and service—strengthen the testimony being formed through your life.

When you are ready for additional encouragement, continue the journey with New Beginnings Faith Ministries.
